Our Green Oak structural beams are produced from a fresh cut (fresh sawn) oak which has been clean cut from the log within the last 3-6 months.

Fine Sawn Finish, weathering to a beautiful silver / grey colour over time externally.

Predominantly clear sections including some natural features, providing a wonderful light character appearance.

Our beams will be of a high moisture content, therefore the green oak timber will naturally shrink and fissure over a period of time as it dries and settles in situ.

As our structural oak beams are unseasoned, meaning that that they have been recently felled, resulting in the higher moisture content, it means that these beams are far easier to cut into custom shapes making them ideal for all structural purposes, internally as well as externally. Moisture Content Varies 40 – 70%
